Senior Commercial Construction Project Director
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee ground-up commercial construction projects ranging from $20M to $100M+ from preconstruction and procurement through closeout and occupancy.
- Manage prime contracts, subcontractor buyouts, change order negotiations, and monthly owner progress billings (AIA G702/G703).
- Enforce zero-tolerance OSHA jobsite safety protocols, Quality Assurance (QA/QC) inspection standards, and environmental compliance.
- Maintain rigorous project scheduling utilizing Primavera P6 and Procore to ensure key milestone and substantial completion dates are met.
- Serve as primary liaison to owners, developers, municipal inspectors, architects, and financial stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of proven commercial construction management experience with a general contractor on large-scale commercial or healthcare builds.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required; CCM (Certified Construction Manager) or PMP is a major plus.
- Extensive track record with Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam Revu, and subcontractor cost control systems.
- Proven leadership on active job sites with exceptional crisis resolution, negotiation, and budget governance skills.
